Stonewall Resort
July 19, 2010
I know my family thinks I’m addicted to workahol, but look! I went on vacation!
We spent the fourth of July weekend in West Virginia, at Stonewall Resort. The whole place is lovely, and I sort of wish I’d gotten more photos of the grounds, but hey I’m off the clock. (Although there was a wedding there on Saturday. There was also a wedding nearby when I was in Naples, and when we did the Maryland Railroad with my folks. Weird.) Anyway, we spent a good bit of our trip in the pool, biking, and the boys got some golf in. The only photos I really got were the day we spent on the pontoon boat.
Lori, looking wonderfully dramatic

This is what I look like when you put me in direct sunlight.

Anthony was born to drive a pontoon boat.

This may have reminded some of you that I went to Europe not so long ago. I’d love to get those posted up travel journal style in the future, but I haven’t had time to do it. In the mean time, they’re on Facebook.
Fishing
June 3, 2009
The boys went fishing a few days ago. If the scenery looks familiar, it’s because it’s right over the hill from the house. I’m giving away a free headshot – details after the photos.

Matt was on call for the weekend, so that’s his work phone in his tackle box.

What was that about free? Oh, yeah. I’ve decided to participate in Strobist Boot Camp II. The theme this year is, what else, the “worldwide economic meltdown.”
The link goes to the first assignment. The basic idea is that I take a lovely headshot of you, and you return the favor. No, you don’t need to be a photographer. Yes, you get to keep your snazzy new headshot and use it however you see fit. This is open to absolutely anybody, and it’s free.
Interested? Leave a comment, find me on facebook, or use the form on the website. Photos need to be submitted by the end of the day on June 23rd, so get to it!
