I got to do some portraits of Todd and his family up at their dry cleaning business about a year ago. He was looking to get some not-so-corporate portraits done, and met me in Brownsville.
He also mentioned how much he really, really, no seriously hates having his photo taken. I hear this pretty frequently from people (okay, I hear this ALL THE TIME from people). I assured him that having portraits done doesn’t have to be painful, and he actually did admit to having a good time. People don’t generally get professional photos done too many times in their lives, and I think it should be fun.
